Rules when using Digital Wings and the Internet.
Google Search.
Google Classroom. Access for Y2-Y6 using your child’s Digital Wings username and password.
ESafety help form. If your child needs to contact a member of staff about any ESafety issue but can’t do so in person, they can use this form to do so.
Bug Club. Access for Reception-Y6 using your child’s Digital Wings username and password. Enter ‘walt’ for the School Code. This will then be remembered. This is the Digital version of our Reading Scheme. It also includes appropriate comprehension questions within each book. Bug Club can be used to vary daily home reading, which is part of our school’s Homework Policy.
Phonics Play. Used in school to support phonics. Can be used at home. Username wldps. Ask in class for the password.
Busythings. Used in Nursery, Reception and KS1. Can be used at home. Ask for your class’ username and password.
Storyline. Stories read by actors.
Storybird. Access for Y3-Y6 using your child’s Digital Wings username and password. Write your own stories with professional artist’s artwork. Publish and share.
TES Iboard Plus. A site some teachers subscribe to individually to give children access to additional activities.
Mathsframe. KS2 Maths activities used in class. Can be accessed at home. Username wldps. Ask in class for the password.
Number Gym. Bond Builder and Table Trainer are part of School’s homework policy. Used little and often, these 2 activities will help your child learn their number bonds to 20 as facts (a Year 1 expectation) and their times tables (Year 2,Year 3 and Year 4 expectations). Access for Y1-Y6. Username wldps. Ask in class for the whole school password. Your child will then be asked for their Digital Wings username.
Times Table Rock Stars. Access for Y2-Y6 using your child’s Digital Wings username and password. ‘Your school or organisation’ is entered as ‘WLDPS’ which will then be remembered.
