Wow! We have had a wonderful day! We saw lots of fish, had a train ride! And got quite wet!!
This afternoon we had a party for the Queen! We made cakes and decorated biscuits. We played party games and had prizes! Mr Johnson’s mum made a brilliant cake. The Queen unfortunately got stuck in traffic and missed her party however we sang happy birthday anyway.
As part of our topic on ‘People who help us’, we were visited by a nurse who taught us all about first aid. We had a great time bandaging each other up, taking our blood pressure and we especially liked playing in our role play doctors surgery.
Last week we were lucky enough to have a special visit from the Fire and Rescue service of Bamber Bridge fire station. They spoke to us about fire safety in our houses, how to check our smoke alarms are working, and we also got to try on some of their uniform!
They also took us outside to look at the fire engine and we even got to use the fire hose.
This week we have learnt about the vets. We had a visit from Withy Grove vets. We made some pet rocks and enjoyed playing in the role play area!
