Parents should contact the school office to explain the reason for a child's absence by 9.00am by phone or email. Please ensure that you contact the school on each day of the child's absence unless instructed otherwise.

Children not collected by 3.30pm will be entered into the After School Club for that day and parents will be charged accordingly.
If parents do not contact the school office to explain the reason for their child’s absence, the school office will make every effort to find out if there is a safeguarding concern.

Punctuality

Children arriving after the start of their child's school day must report to the office so that a late mark can be recorded and the time of arrival noted.

All ‘lates’ are recorded by the office and the school leadership team are informed. Late marks can result in parents receiving fines from Lancashire County Council.
